The big brother of the original "Fox" design comes the FOX TAIL, a stretched-out version that harnesses the speed of the original design and channels it into a smoother, drawn-out twin fin.
We've updated this model coming into the 2023-24 summer. Firstly, dropping the length down from a mid-length size to now be ridden one inch shorter than your performance board. The second was tweaking the bottom shape. We flattened out the entry and placed a subtle double concave in front of the fins, blending into vee off the tail. We also lifted the tail rocker, creating more manuvrabilty. Finally, we dressed it up with a classic red tint, our 90's inspired ACSOD logo and a tapered pinline for some traditional flare.
Underfoot, the FOX TAIL surfs with instant speed out the gate due to the low-entry rocker and effortlessly maintains this speed when planning over flat sections. The longer rail line adds drive and holds through craves, whilst the vee of the tail and lifted exit rocker allow the board to roll from rail to rail and turn tighter in the pocket. Creating a very seamless transition in and out of maneuvers. A domed deck hides a generous amount of volume to aid in paddle power, and the shorter length also assists tighter turns in the pocket.
For twin fin enthusiasts, this is the perfect complement to its sibling model, the "Fox". Everything you love about the stubby, rippable small wave twin, but stretched out for a drawn-out fluid approach, suitable for 2ft to 6ft points, reef or beach breaks.
